Local 251 Supports Daniel Franks for City Pension Board

AFSCME Local 251 proudly supports Daniel Franks, Local 251 Treasurer, for election to the City of Omaha Retirement Board of Trustees.
Our members work hard every day to serve Omaha, and our pension is an essential part of the retirement security we earn through that service. Decisions affecting the pension system matter to employees throughout their careers and into retirement.
Electing Daniel would give Local 251 members a voice on the board and bring the perspective of a fellow union member to discussions affecting our retirement future. As our Local’s Treasurer, Daniel already serves in a position of financial responsibility and accountability to the membership.
This election deserves our attention and participation. Having a candidate on the ballot is only the first step; we need members to vote.
Watch for your ballot at your home address. Select Daniel Franks, follow the instructions included with your ballot, and return it by the stated deadline.
Encourage your coworkers to participate, too. Together, we can help ensure that the people who keep Omaha running have a voice in their retirement system.
AFSCME Local 251 urges you to vote Daniel Franks for the City Retirement Board of Trustees.
